The tower building layout strategy introduced this time is a pure tower style, which means that it only relies on building towers without attacking. Because the magician profession itself is strong in building towers but weak in attacks, it is most suitable to be a pure tower-style profession. The advantage of pure tower style is that the protagonist is not easy to die, but once the magic tower defense line is breached, it can no longer be saved. First, at the beginning, four treasure boxes will appear, and every time a level is passed, new treasure boxes will be refreshed, with a fixed number of four. Each treasure chest has 40 energy points, which means you will get 40×4=160 energy points. Building a magic tower requires 40 energy points, which is enough to build four towers.

The attack range must have no blind spots, otherwise the result of being stuck in a blind spot by a monster will be tragic. So you need to understand the terrain first. When building a tower, focus on building it around gems, because monsters will drop energy and equipment when they are hit, but if you move slower, these energy and equipment will disappear automatically. If you build magic towers in the east and one in the west, you will probably be overwhelmed. Therefore, it is best to build them concentratedly around the gems, because all the monsters are directed at the gems, and you only need to harvest them nearby.

As shown in the picture, I built four towers at the four corners at the beginning, basically covering the entire attack range on the path that the monster must pass through (the middle is the gem). When building towers, don't spread them out too much. Being close together will help concentrate your firepower.

After the first wave passed, I could build a defensive shield before the second wave started. The purpose of building this is to protect the magic tower from being attacked by monsters. The magic tower is very fragile, but the shield is much more durable. And if there is a shield blocking it, the monster will stop moving forward and remain within your attack range. When building a shield, try to keep it as close to the magic tower as possible so that it can cover a wider area. It is best not to leave gaps between shields to avoid being invaded by monsters.

After the monster is defeated, the energy will be in one place. You only need to run around to harvest a good amount of energy. The energy will disappear after a while, so pick it up as soon as possible. Sometimes in the middle of a battle, your magic value is full and you can no longer pick up energy. At this time, you can upgrade the tower. Click on the magic tower, and three options will pop up: demolition, repair, and upgrade. The left one is Dismantling (a certain amount will be refunded), repairing on the right, and upgrading below.

The reason why the troops are arranged like this as shown in the picture is because all the monsters will eventually gather together no matter which direction they come from. You only need to block the intersection in these two directions, saving time and effort. The only disadvantage is that the firepower is too concentrated. If there are too many monsters and the lethality is not enough, they will be easily pushed over. However, if you set up the formation like this, the energy gain will be much greater than with a scattered formation, so the tower will be upgraded much faster. The lethality will still be enough, but it depends on whether your level is up to standard.

Of course, magic towers cannot be built without limit. The limit for this level is 45 du points. That is to say, you need to consume 3 du points to build a magic tower. If you build 10 magic towers, you will consume 30 du points. Click du and build 7 more shields, which is 44 du points. The upper limit is 45 du points. Because there is no building with 1 du, you have used up du and can no longer build new towers unless you demolish the tower or The tower was knocked down. I completely surrounded the crystal from two directions, built five magic towers on the left and right, and placed 7 shields to guard it, basically making it watertight.
