According to the number of police forces and the development of the situation, it can be divided into simple resistance formation and intensive resistance formation.

Simple horizontal formation

A formation used when the police force is small and the confrontation is weak. Generally, guard, hand-linked, and stick-linked blocking formations can be used. The distance between riot control team members can also be appropriately increased according to the actual situation.

dense horizontal formation

The members on duty are divided into two or three to four lines to form a horizontal formation. Its characteristics and functions are the same as the simple blocking formation.
