How to take a self-guided tour of Yalong Bay in Sanya
Special note: If you don’t want to take a taxi, be sure to pay attention to your travel time. After 5 pm, it will be difficult to wait for buses and tourist buses to Yalong Bay. . . I just came back from Sanya yesterday (2011.2.24-28), five days and four nights. Main places visited: Yalong Bay, Wuzhizhou, Tianya Haijiao, Sanya Bay. My itinerary: D1: Check-in at Cactus-Yalong Bay Beach. There is direct bus No. 28 from the airport to Yalong Bay, or bus No. 8 is replaced by No. 15. The total cost is about 10-15 yuan per person. Check in at the hotel at 12 noon, swim in the beach and cactus garden in the afternoon, and go to the nearby visitor center to eat fruits and seafood barbecue in the evening. It is cheaper than the hotel and more expensive than the city. It is open until about 10 o'clock in the evening. In addition, the accommodation in Cactus is about 500 per night, including breakfast. It has a huge garden and swimming pool, which is very good. The music and party at night are also great; dining in the hotel is very expensive, not…all

My itinerary: D1: Check-in at Cactus-Yalong Bay Beach. There is direct bus No. 28 from the airport to Yalong Bay, or bus No. 8 is replaced by No. 15. The total cost is about 10-15 yuan per person. In addition, the accommodation in Cactus is about 500 per night, including breakfast for two. It has a huge garden and swimming pool, which is very good. The music and party at night are also great; dining in the hotel is very expensive and is not recommended. I usually eat breakfast until 10 o'clock, skip lunch, and eat together in the afternoon and evening. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach along the garden path, or less than 5 minutes by their car. It is very convenient and the scenery is beautiful.
They have a large area of lounge chairs on the beach. D2: Wuzhizhou. I slept until I woke up naturally in the morning. After breakfast at the hotel, at 10 or 11 o'clock, I took bus No. 15 from Tiandu Square to No. 28 from Yalong Bay bus station to Wuzhizhou Island, which took about an hour in total and took less than half an hour by boat. (Tiandu Town generally has a bus station at Tiandu Square. It is the nearest major town to Yalong Bay and has markets, supermarkets, etc., which can be used as a purchasing point).
Attractions we have visited in Wuzhizhou: Mazu Temple, Lover’s Bridge, and Lover’s Valley. Because I went diving in Wuzhizhou, I didn’t go to many scenic spots. Wuzhizhou is not recommended for diving. Firstly, the water is very turbid and there are very few types of corals and fish. It is much less than when I went to Redang Island in Malaysia (I am a shore dive). Secondly, there are many people from the Northeast. (Sorry, I really don’t like the Northeastern people over there). My swimming instructor is also from the Northeast. He keeps pushing to buy shells and conch shells. If you don’t buy it, he will be very unhappy, and the diving will end casually. .
Please pay attention to the time. The boat back to the island is at 5:30 at the latest. It may be earlier, so you have to inquire. The latest bus No. 28 from Wuzhizhou to Tiandu is 6:30, and the latest bus from Tiandu back to Yalong Bay is 6:30 (taxi fare is 27 yuan with the meter, and if you meet someone on the road, you may be able to take it back for 20 yuan). At night, I slipped through the fence and sunbathed in the moon on a beach chair.
Cost: Tickets 142, shore diving 268 (bought on Taobao, the on-site price is more expensive; however, it is slowly approaching the off-season, you may encounter 50% off or 40% off diving on-site, but there is no guarantee that you can meet it) D3: Tianya Haijiao – Sanya Bay – Yalong Bay. Sleep until you wake up naturally. After breakfast, go out at 10:30. Take the Yalong Bay-Tianya Haijiao shuttle bus at Yalong Bay bus station and get off at the terminal.
It's quite beautiful inside, but it's a bit expensive compared to the tickets (65 yuan for individual visitors). Main attractions: Sculpture Area, Love Square, Tianya Stone, Cape Stone, Wealth Stone, etc., all are included in the tickets for the attractions. Walking along the road, if you walk slowly, two hours is enough to get out. You can buy some souvenirs at the exit. They are not expensive and very beautiful. It is good to bring to friends.
I took the Tianya Haijiao-Yalong Bay shuttle bus, got off at Sanya Bay and wandered around for a while in Dadonghai, and then came back. Swim in the cactus pool at night and bask in the moon on the beach of Yalong Bay. I didn’t go to the nearby attractions such as Nanshan Temple and Big and Small Cave Heavens. You can arrange to go on a day if you like.
D4: Yalong Bay. I spent the day basking in the sun, basking on the front and back, swimming in the sea, and playing with sand castles. Stay overnight in a Li family in a local village. D5: Yalong Bay. The local Li people chatted, learned about customs, watched videos of their weddings, had seafood barbecue at his house, and visited Tiandu Market for shopping. Flight back to Beijing in the evening.
A taxi to the airport costs more than 80 yuan. Friends have always recommended Wuzhizhou Island, so I dedicated a day to visit it. However, I felt that the scenery, diving, and beaches were not as good as expected. Maybe my expectations were too high. I like the beach in Yalong Bay. I think it is clearer and the sand is softer than Wuzhizhou and Sanya Bay. The security in the hotel area is very good.
The majority of people are Li and Northeastern people. The entire area is basically full of hotels, with relatively few small shops. The barbecue stalls on the beach are very lively during the day, but after 7 o'clock in the evening, there are basically only hotel activities, except of course, going to the beach to bask in the moon. For accommodation, I stayed at Gloria Cactus in Yalong Bay. If you play at Yalong Bay Beach, I highly recommend this hotel.
Nearby are the Central Square, Butterfly Valley, and Tropical Paradise Forest Park (not the second shooting location). You can go there any day. We didn't go there, so we won't comment. I only visited a small area of the beach in Sanya Bay. The sea surface is relatively wide, the view is wide, and the sand is a bit prickly. There are mostly family hotels. Except for the hotel areas near Tianya Haijiao and other scenic spots, I felt that other places were a bit desolate and a little scared. I didn’t go shopping much or swim in the sea.
A friend went there a week earlier than me and recommended the Haiyun Hotel in Sanya Bay. Dadonghai, the urban area, is relatively prosperous and lively. Pass by and get off once. I didn’t shop much, so I can’t comment. My trip is mainly for vacation and I don’t want to visit too many scenic spots. I don’t know if you like it or not, but we stayed with a local family in Yalong Bay on our last day. We really liked their courtyard, coconut trees, betel nut trees, their two children, and the local seafood recipes.
Brother Hu is a nice person. We stayed for one day and took care of transportation to the beach and Tiandu Town. He also took care of coconut seafood beer and their snacks. We liked it very much. If we had gone a few days earlier, I guess we would have asked him to take us by boat to the islands near Yalong Bay, and the price and entertainment would have been more free.
No advertising. If you like it, ask me for the contact information of Brother Hu (a Li ethnic minority). The local scenery and climate are very good, windy and humid, and it's not too stuffy or humid yet. If you have a driver's license, bring your notebook and rent a car (the car rental fee for Swift is 200 a day), and it will be fun to drive around. I forgot to bring my driving notebook, what a pity. Fortunately, I took a motorcycle to go for a ride and experienced the scenery on the road that was not 2. It was also very enjoyable.
I think it mainly depends on whether you are traveling or on vacation. When traveling, you should arrange the scenic spots and visit them slowly; when on vacation, you should be more relaxed and comfortable, and it doesn't matter how many scenic spots there are. Just for reference 🙂 Have a great time!.close
