Chapter 7: Summary Of Semester Work Of The Dance Club

Summary of the first semester of the 2012-2013 academic year

Time flies so fast, and the tense and busy semester is coming to an end. Looking back on the past period, there are always many successes and shortcomings. The work of the dance interest group is summarized as follows:

This semester, I continue to work as a dance interest group. Faced with 20 lively and lovely children, during class, I check the results of the students' previews, and promptly encourage students to boldly show their movements and fully affirm those who take the initiative to perform movements. Classmates, increase your self-confidence and overcome shyness. After the students perform the actions, I am not in a hurry to correct or summarize, leaving a certain amount of space for students to analyze, evaluate, and discuss with each other. Continuously improve the combined movements. At this time, based on the students' understanding, I will inspire and guide, explain the difficulties and key points of the movements, as well as the connecting parts and the purpose and requirements of this combination training, so that students can get the benefits of learning from it. Method, summarize the problems, gains and losses in your own learning process, improve the efficiency of learning, so as to correctly understand and evaluate the training purpose of dance combinations, as well as the editor's creative intention. In the teaching process, I pay attention to the development of students' subjectivity, in order to maximize students' potential and cultivate students' interest in learning dance. I demonstrate and only teach the front movements, allowing students to voluntarily form groups, and then analyze, study, and experience together, use collective wisdom to transfer the front movements to the back for practice, and then ask other group members to reproduce their joint summary The actions that came out were analyzed, corrected, and improved by everyone in the end. Through this process of active participation, students not only mastered the movements, but also developed a strong desire to create new dance vocabulary, enriched their imagination and creativity, and formed their own unique aesthetic taste. This kind of classroom atmosphere is very Active, it is also conducive to cultivating students' self-motivation, sense of responsibility, collective sense of honor and collective concept.

The acceptance level of each student in a class and a group is different. As a teacher, I believe that we should set different goals for students to move forward. The goals set for students who are slow to adopt should be slightly simpler, so that they can approach the goals step by step and build self-confidence. The goals set for students who are quick to accept are more complex, allowing them to increase their self-confidence through challenges.

As a dance teacher, although I am not a professional dancer, I have a passion for dance.

Enthusiasm for teaching and enthusiasm for educating students. Cultivate students' interest in dance as children, adjust their bodies, and exercise their body coordination abilities. In the future teaching, I will continue to teach seriously, cultivate more students with special skills, and never give up interested students. We can rehearse more high-quality programs and let the students' light posture become a beautiful scenery of our school!
