"Wen Ai", "Knife", "Lianmai"… "Soft Pornography" Targets Minors

At a time when we are cracking down on underage pornography crimes, “soft pornography” is still lurking on the Internet. A reporter from Banyuetan found that e-commerce advertisements, animations, games, etc. have become a potential place for “soft pornography”. After some adolescent minors become accustomed to "soft pornographic" information, they pursue and experience "quasi-pornographic" or pornographic content on the Internet. The rise of "literary love", "gun-banging" and "lianmai" has touched the bottom line of the law.

"Soft pornographic" information "Ambush from all sides"

In an underwear advertisement on an e-commerce platform, a child model poses in poses and movements inappropriate for her age, with close-ups highlighting body parts. Some businesses focus on children's stockings and use child models to create so-called "white silk lolita" images.

Xiao Liu, a graduate student at Donghua University, felt deeply uncomfortable after seeing such advertisements online and reported them to the e-commerce platform. "After seeing it, I felt quite angry. This kind of posture for children is inappropriate and very indecent." Xiao Liu said.

After the report, the merchant removed the advertising image. However, such efforts only target one merchant, and similar advertisements can still be seen everywhere on various e-commerce platforms. It is understood that since this type of information does not belong to "yellow and violent" content, the platform cannot directly filter it, and supervision relies mainly on user reports. As a result, some businesses have taken a step back.

Ban Yuetan reporter contacted a model agent as a businessman and expressed his hope to find child models to shoot such advertisements. The other party said that some parents did not care about such filming. The agent said that children's underwear photography is more expensive than ordinary clothing photography. It costs 4,000 yuan per hour and the shooting starts in 4 hours. In other words, you only need to spend 16,000 yuan to find a child model to take such "soft pornographic" photos.

In addition to e-commerce platforms, such photos are also used to promote electronic games and gaming platforms. On the Internet, a game website posted a post with the title "Beautiful photos of Lolita in white stockings and short skirts make people's noses bleed." A group of photos were all printed with the game website's watermark, including a girl posing in an indecent pose. Some netizens also left indecent comments about this.

Some "soft pornography" targets minors. Take "Tokyo Ghoul" as an example. This manga, which is popular among primary and secondary school students, contains a large number of intimate scenes that are not suitable for minors; another animation that is also popular has some indecent scenes in its first episode. , which makes people feel uncomfortable.

"At the beginning of the first episode, there were scenes of several boys showing naked bodies, which was quite shocking." Xiao Zhang, an animation enthusiast and college student, said.

In fact, animations including "Tokyo Ghoul" were included in the "blacklist" of online animation products in 2015, but they still have corresponding resources on video websites, public accounts, etc., and can be easily read and watched.

"Soft porn" slides into porn

What is worrying is that when young minors are accustomed to "soft pornographic" information, when they grow up to adolescence, they are more likely to further explore too much "soft pornographic" information in the virtual world, and even break the boundaries. Exposure to pornography.

Li Ling, associate professor of psychology at East China Normal University, said that children lack the ability to distinguish and may imitate behaviors in "soft pornographic" information out of curiosity; and for adolescent minors, they may be stimulated by "soft pornographic" information. It creates impulses that directly affect their behavior.

In recent years, behaviors such as "literary love", "gun-banging" and "lianmai" have emerged. Some teenagers chat with the opposite sex through text, voice, and video, and the content is full of "soft pornographic" content.

In Baidu Tieba, some netizens used a photo of an underage girl wearing white stockings as their avatar to solicit long-term "Lianmai" partners. One post said: "Do you like underage people?" It attracted many "likes". reply.

In a certain QQ group, boys and girls are looking for "literary love" and "sexual sex" partners. Some of them post the word "文" in the group, meaning they hope to find someone who can use text to have virtual sex; some of them post the letter K to express their hope. Looking for a partner to have sex with, that is, having virtual sex through voice; some openly look for partners in groups and exchange indecent selfie videos.

A netizen in the group said that he is 15 years old and still in school. He likes to have sex secretly at night. He has had sex with a girl who is one year younger than him, and he can also accept those who are older than him.

The industries of paid "literary love", "knocking on guns" and "lianmai" also emerged. On QQ, some people are targeting the curiosity of teenagers, calling themselves "loli", and using indecently dressed minors or "soft pornographic" cartoons as avatars and dynamic photo albums to attract teenagers to "fall into the trap". In this type of QQ group, links to pornographic videos are sometimes sold. Pornographic content can be downloaded for 15 to 20 yuan, and the content related to young girls is outrageous.

In these QQ groups, robots named "QQ Official" and "Q Group Butler" have joined them, but no content is prohibited.

Platforms should intensify rectification efforts

The newly revised Law on the Protection of Minors has been implemented since June 1. The law clearly stipulates: If an Internet service provider discovers that a user has published or disseminated information that may affect the physical and mental health of minors without giving a prominent reminder, it shall issue a prompt. Or notify the user to give a prompt; if no prompt is given, the relevant information shall not be transmitted; if the network service provider discovers that the user has published or disseminated information containing content that is harmful to the physical and mental health of minors, it shall immediately stop transmitting the relevant information… and report to the network information, Reports from public security and other departments.

In fact, social media, live broadcast and other platforms have banned behaviors that are likely to produce "soft pornographic" information. For example, under the special rectification by relevant departments, most live broadcast platforms have banned minors from being online anchors; for another example, Tencent QQ security team investigated and suspended videos involving "Wen Ai" and "Knock" in 2018. There are more than 280 QQ groups with content such as "cannon". However, "soft pornographic" information continues to be transferred to major platforms.

Liu Chunquan, a lawyer at Shanghai Duan & Duan Law Firm, believes that "soft pornographic" information for minors can be divided into two categories: one is using minors as content to cater to the audience with bad taste. If it is done deliberately, the content must be increased. Punishment intensity, if not, should also be ordered to correct; secondly, minors are the target of dissemination. This kind of information is often "on the sidelines", and traditional technical prevention methods are not easy to screen. Manual review should be increased, and those who violate the regulations should be punished. Users are severely punished. (Intern Li Yinwei also contributed to this article)
