Legendary Weapons In World Of Warcraft Will Soon Be Able To Transform Into Ash-eating Weapons And See The Light Of Day Again

The restriction on the transmogrification of legendary items in "World of Warcraft" has been lifted to version 8.3. Players can transmogrify multiple legendary weapons. This means that many players have "Thunder's Wrath, Sulfuras, and Shadow" left in the bank to eat dust. Weapons such as "Mourning" can see the light of day again.

At this year’s BlizzCon, the designers of “World of Warcraft” stated in a Q&A event that they would open the transmogrification of legendary weapons in version 9.0 of “Shadowland.” In the latest 8.3 PTR patch, players discovered that Blizzard has advanced this plan.

In the transmogrification interface of version 8.3, you can see that you can choose the orange staff Wrath of the Dragon in the options, and the weapon transmogrification has also changed to Wrath of the Dragon, Tarecgosa's soul staff.

Transmog restrictions

Through testing on the PTR, the following transmog restriction information was determined:

The transmogrification of legendary items is account-wide. As long as you obtain a legendary item, all characters on the same account can be transmogrified (just meet the level requirements and match the weapon type).

Legendary items with class restrictions (such as Warglaives of Azzinoth and Shadowmourne) can only be transmogrified by limited classes.

Legendary items that have no class restrictions, but are restricted by the class that obtains them (such as Val'anel and Dragon's Wrath), can be transmogrified by all classes that can equip that weapon type.

The Thief's Legendary Dagger currently has a bug. Although the dagger itself has no occupation restrictions, non-thief occupations can only choose to transmogrify it into the off-hand Tiriosh, Ancient Nightmare, and most professions cannot transmogrify it.

Epic items required to create legendary items that previously had transmogrification restrictions (such as Sulfuron Warhammer and Nordrassil Runestaff) can also be transmogrified.

Existing legendary equipment that can be transmogrified

The list of legendary equipment that players can now use for transmogrification is as follows:

Savras, Hand of Ragnaros: Two-Handed Mace

Thunderfury, Windseeker's Blessed Blade: One-Handed Sword

Atiesh, the Legendary Staff of the Guardian: Staff, exclusive to druids, wizards, priests, and sorcerers

Warglaives of Azzinoth: main and off-hand swords, limited to death knights, demon hunters, monks, rogues and warriors

Solidar, Wrath of the Stars: Bow

Valanel, Hammer of the Ancient Kings: One-Handed Hammer

Shadowmourne: Two-Handed Axe, limited to Death Knights, Paladins and Warriors

Wrath of the Dragon, Tarecgosa's Spirit Staff: Staff

Gorad, Twilight of the Dragon King/Tiriosh, Ancient Nightmare: Main/off-hand dagger, Rogue only

Legends of Pandaria Cloak: Cloak

"Legion" legendary items: limited corresponding occupations (the model is not necessarily the only one)
