CrossFire: Things About The Terminator (reprinted)

In this episode of Truth-Seeking, we bring you two unsolved mysteries, and once again conduct a detailed exploration of some controversial issues in the previous Truth-Seeking.

1. Does the Terminator's shield have any effect on hunters?

2. Why does the box for selecting zombies sometimes suddenly disappear in Terminator mode?

Okay, let's explain it in detail.

The Demon Terminator's shield cannot reduce the damage done to the Demon Hunter's knife. In the actual test, as soon as the full-blooded Demon Terminator opened its shield, it was immediately taken away by the Demon Hunter's four hits of 8,000 damage.

But many people have raised questions: Only the Demon Terminator Shield is invalid, right? The other two are valid.

So the editor came to Terminator mode again specifically for this purpose to see if the shields of Terminators and Alien Terminators have any effect.

First test in terminator mode:

I found that after opening the shield, the ghost hunter's knife did no damage at all, no matter whether it was light or heavy.

Some people may have questions: No, I clearly dealt 500 damage.

In fact, did you know that before you turned into a hunter, you used a firearm to inflict damage on the Terminator? After you become a hunter, it will still be recorded, and the damage of your knife was completely offset by the shield or turned into a fake knife.

Let's take an example. I first used a gun to hit the Terminator with 500 HP, and then after transforming without taking any action, I was killed by the Terminator. At this time, it will be displayed that I caused 500 HP of damage to the Terminator.

If I hit 500 HP first, then hit the terminator hard to cause damage, and then was killed, it will show the damage I caused to the terminator.

This is why some people feel that they have dealt damage, but find that the damage is strange.

But, if it is an alien terminator that opens the shield…

Due to various factors and the editor’s dormitory network is not good, the editor led a group of people to play four rounds of 17 rounds of Terminator. In the end, I only captured this picture = =, and the shield was not displayed…

We beat the Terminator, and then the moment the goddess hit hard and raised her hand, the Terminator opened its shield, and at this time the Terminator was killed.

And if the terminator is full of blood, and then opens the shield at the moment when he raises his hand, the damage caused, and the light attack is also 1400.

In other words, the Alien Terminator, like the Demonic Terminator, is not immune to the hunter's knife even if the shield is opened.

In fact, to put it bluntly: the Terminator family has "sex discrimination". The shield protects men but not women. The male hunter's knife will be completely protected by the shield, while the female Nemesis and Demon Hunter's knives can ignore the protection. The shield deals the original damage.

But this still does not solve the problem, because the editor clearly remembers that when I was a blue terminator, I was killed by a hunter's knife immediately after opening the shield with 3000+HP.

However, considering that it was already very late at that time, the editor took the test from 6 pm to 11 pm and opened N rounds of Terminator. Due to a series of problems such as poor campus network, disconnection of the companion test, and not enough people, the editor only I have no choice but to give up temporarily and keep testing the problem of the blue terminator until the number of people is enough in the future. (Testing is really hard and requires rigorous work. I hope readers can understand)

Ok, now that this problem is solved, let’s look at the next question:

There is always a phenomenon when we play biochemical: after being caught, before we can choose the biochemical character, the selection box suddenly disappears.

The reasons why the box disappears normally are:

1. Disappear after timeout;

2. Disappear after being killed;

3. Press the esc key to cancel the transformation box.

In addition to these, why do they sometimes disappear? Please continue reading:

After testing one by one: jumping or squatting causes the box to disappear, or getting injured causes the box to disappear, or selecting a zombie that you don't have and causing the box to disappear, all are wrong. In the actual test, no matter how the editor jumps, squats, or selects zombies, the box will not disappear.

After ruling out these reasons, the editor finally found the answer due to the reasons mentioned by a friend:

As shown in the picture above, after the editor was caught, a box to select zombies immediately popped up. Then, the zombie was killed at this time, and the result was like this:

Yes, the box disappeared.

In addition, it is not just the zombies in front of you. After testing, as long as any zombie in the room dies, whether it is killed by a knife or shot, the box will disappear directly.

The editor also played the biochemical mode every day during the seven days of National Day. During the actual test, I found that as long as the editor's box disappears, there will indeed be a prompt in the upper right corner that other zombies have been killed.

Everything finally had an answer. In addition to the normal disappearance, the reason why the box disappeared was: not only evolution, but also the death of any zombie in the room would also cause the box for selecting the zombie to suddenly disappear. However, no matter whether it is jumping, crouching, or pressing the zombie, it will not make the box disappear.

This issue’s truth-seeking extra has finally come to an end. If you have any topics you want to seek truth from, please leave them in the comment area. The editor will take the time to answer them, or use them as a topic for the next time you seek truth.
