Bible Stories·Old Testament·Genesis·Garden Of Eden

On the sixth day of creation, God created a human being out of soil in his own image. He breathed on the human being, and the human being became a living soul. God named him Adam.

God built a garden in Eden in the east and let Adam live in it.

There are all kinds of beautiful trees in the garden, and the trees are full of abundant fruits.

In the center of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge, which discerned good from evil.

A river flows through Eden and irrigates the trees and flowers in the garden.

The river came out of Eden and divided into four tributaries,

The first is called Pison, and it surrounds the whole land of Havilah, which is rich in gold, pearls, and onyx stones.

The second line is called the Foundation, and it surrounds the whole land of Cush.

The third river is called the Tigris River, which flows east of the city of Assyria.

The fourth is called the Euphrates River.

God made Adam tend the garden and manage the trees.

God said to Adam, "You may eat of any tree in the garden as you please." But this is a tree of knowledge that distinguishes good from evil. People who eat the fruit from this tree can understand whether their actions are righteous or evil. This means that his soul will never find peace again. Therefore, you must not pick the fruit from this tree, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous. "

God brought all the birds and beasts he created to Adam and asked Adam to name them and be their master.

Adam lived in a garden with lush vegetation, abundant fruits, and blooming flowers. Birds and animals played with him, but even so, he was still unhappy. Because he is alone.

So, God Jehovah put Adam into a deep sleep, took a rib from Adam, and created a woman named Eve.

God brought Eve to Adam, and Adam was delighted to see the woman and said, "This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. You may call her woman, because she was taken from man." That's why. For a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be united to his wife, and become one flesh.

Adam and Eve roamed around hand in hand, curiously looking at their home – the "Garden of Eden".
